You may have been to various practitioners, and tried every therapy but symptoms persist? Understanding your pain is the first step to overcoming it. Most often I consult with patients when it’s the ‘last resort’. This is unfortunate, yet true. Chronic pain can lead people down a long path of misinformation, unhelpful belief systems and promises of a quick fix. This inevitably leads to frustration when that intervention fails.
I don’t promise a quick fix, It is unlikely that I will need to see you every week and I don’t promise to take your pain away. However, what I do promise is to educate you about your pain. To provide you with the tools to manage and improve your own pain. Pain is complex, and multifactorial. My focus is to hear your story, address your symptoms and work our way through potential contributing and provocative factors. With this together it can decrease the pain and improving overall quality of life. By equipping you with the tools and resilience to take away your own pain. The ultimate goal is that you don’t need me or any other therapist anymore.
